The Sensible Geek

I’m Michael Dunn, a 26-year-old Marketing Analyst in the Seattle area.  I earned my B.A. in Economics from Western Washington University in 2004, and I make it a point to try to stay informed about the political landscape in this country.  My personal opinions are pretty decidedly conservative, but more important than people agreeing with me, is people being informed.

In my view, many of the problems our nation faces can be at least partially attributed to many people not fully understanding pertinent issues.  For example, if you don’t know how health insurance works, how can you form an educated opinion regarding healthcare reform?  And if you can’t form an educated opinion, you can’t express that opinion to your representative and senators in Washington, DC.

My goal, therefore, is to educate.  Yes, my opinion will be present, but my desire is to offer facts first, and my interpretation of them second.
